Massage Programs in Illinois

AMTA School Members
Thirty-eight massage schools and programs in Illinois are AMTA Council of Schools (COS) members.  Programs must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • The school must be operating a minimum 500-hour program of study for massage therapists and/or body workers.

  • The school must meet all the legal requirements for operation within its jurisdiction.

COMTA Accredited Schools and Programs
The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) is an accrediting body approved by the U.S. Department of Education.  COMTA accredited schools meet high standards for massage therapy education.
