Illinois Licensing Law

The AMTA-IL chapter periodically publishes and sends to its current and new members bound copies of the Illinois Massage Licensing Act and Rules of Practice. The booklet includes a brief history of the law, and, to help readers find information more easily, a quick reference guide to the various sections of the law. The current edition (yellow cover) incorporates the continuing education amendments to the Rules of Practice adopted by the state in 2006. Copies are available ($5 for members, $10 for nonmembers) from the Illinois chapter at 140 N. Bloomingdale Road, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. Funds raised through sales help to defray the cost of the chapter lobbyist.
